What is CVE-2026-71955?

D-Link DWR-M961 devices with hardware version C1 and firmware versions prior to 1.1.5_C1_202607071108 are susceptible to a command injection vulnerability through the /boafrm/formWsc interface. This security flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary malicious commands into the localPin parameter, potentially leading to execution with root privileges. Such exploitation can have severe implications, compromising the security of the affected devices and networks.
