What is CVE-2026-71959?
Bitwarden Server prior to version 2026.7.2 contains a vulnerability that allows any authenticated user to send a POST request to the /collect endpoint without verifying their membership in the respective organization. This flaw enables users to forge audit log entries, potentially leading to significant data integrity issues as they can create arbitrary, backdated entries that can misrepresent user actions within the organization.
