What is CVE-2026-72508?

A significant flaw exists in the multicloud-operators-subscription component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM). This vulnerability allows a namespace-admin tenant to manipulate Subscription Custom Resources (CRs) to execute a confused-deputy attack. By leveraging a highly privileged ServiceAccount (SA), the tenant can deploy arbitrary cluster-scoped resources, resulting in privilege escalation and potential arbitrary code execution throughout the cluster. This issue poses a serious risk to the integrity and security of the environments managed by RHACM.
