What is CVE-2026-72556?

A security flaw in ZoneMinder 1.39.17 allows authenticated users to exploit a broken permission check within the Filter class. The misimplemented canEdit() and canDelete() methods lead to unauthorized OS command execution via the PHP __call() method, permitting any user with access to exploit this vulnerability, bypassing all role-based access controls.
