What is CVE-2026-72606?

Pinry versions up to 2.1.13 are susceptible to a server-side request forgery vulnerability allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit the pin-from-URL feature. This flaw permits attackers to craft user-supplied URLs, which the server processes without validating the host or IP. Consequently, malicious users can leverage this oversight to direct requests to internal services or cloud metadata endpoints, risking unauthorized information exposure and potential system compromise.
