What is CVE-2026-72628?

An improper handling of highly compressed data vulnerability in Kibana could allow an authenticated user with Streams management privileges to craft specially designed content that leads to excessive memory allocation. This results in a Denial of Service, as the Kibana process is terminated by the host, rendering the service unavailable to all users until the system is manually restarted.
