What is CVE-2026-72768?

n8n versions before 2.32.1 are impacted by a vulnerability in the MCP Client node that allows authenticated users to bypass server-side request forgery (SSRF) protections. This flaw enables attackers to create workflows capable of sending requests to internal or prohibited hosts while circumventing SSRF safeguards. Consequently, internal services can be exposed, and attackers may retrieve sensitive responses through the compromised workflows, posing a serious risk to data security and integrity.
