What is CVE-2026-72832?

The Grav content management system versions ranging from 1.5.2 to 2.0.12 are susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from a flaw in the Security::detectXss() function, where a browser can interpret an improperly sanitized event-handler due to incorrect parsing of quotes and angle brackets. As a result, page editors without admin super privileges may unintentionally save content that can lead to the execution of harmful scripts when the page is viewed by users, including those who are not authenticated. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 2.0.13.
