What is CVE-2026-72909?

ERPNext, a free and open-source Enterprise Resource Planning tool, contains a vulnerability that affects the ReceivablePayableReport. This issue arises when preparing conditions for the dynamic-link party field in Payment Ledger Entry, as the system fails to enforce customer and supplier permissions adequately. Consequently, authenticated users may unintentionally gain access to sensitive cross-company financial information within Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reports. This security gap was addressed in versions 15.112.0 and 16.23.0.
