What is CVE-2026-73041?

SiYuan versions prior to v3.7.4 are susceptible to a vulnerability that allows attackers to manipulate annotation fields written to disk via the setFileAnnotation endpoint. This lack of proper validation and escaping permits the injection of malicious markup into these fields. Once exploited, the malicious scripts can execute in the PDF renderer with complete Node.js access when an annotated PDF file is opened by the user, potentially allowing for unauthorized actions and data breaches.
