SSRF Vulnerability in Stoatchat Affects Unauthenticated Users
CVE-2026-73058

What is CVE-2026-73058?
Versions of Stoatchat prior to 0.15.0 are susceptible to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability due to inadequate filtering of the IPv6 unspecified address (::) in the blocklist. This flaw permits unauthenticated attackers to exploit the /proxy and /embed endpoints, crafting requests that leverage IPv6 literal syntax. Through this exploitation, attackers can gain unauthorized access to internal services on the loopback interface, potentially exposing sensitive information.
