SSRF Vulnerability in cti-transmute Product by MISP
CVE-2026-73160
8.7HIGH
What is CVE-2026-73160?
The cti-transmute product developed by MISP has a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that affects the /fetch_misp_event and /misp_search_events endpoints. This vulnerability occurs due to insufficient validation of supplied hostnames, allowing an attacker to leverage DNS records that point to internal addresses. As a result, unauthorized requests to sensitive internal resources can be made, potentially exposing private data. The recent patch has implemented stricter hostname resolution measures and access controls to mitigate this risk.
Affected Version(s)
cti-transmute 0 <= 1.4.0
