What is CVE-2026-73169?

A Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Modbus transaction management interface of Advantech EKI-1242EIMS firmware version V1.06.01. This flaw allows a remote authenticated attacker to inject malicious script content. When an administrator accesses an affected management page, the script executes in their browser, potentially compromising sensitive data or performing actions on behalf of the administrator without their consent.
