What is CVE-2026-73374?

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in Vulnerability-Lookup when using the render_tag_badges Jinja filter. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to submit malicious HTML or JavaScript through crafted reference tags via the CNA API. When these tags are stored in the vulnerability records, they can be rendered as HTML when other users access the corresponding public pages. This exploitation may allow unauthorized actions, information access, and content manipulation, impacting users regardless of their authentication status. The issue has been addressed by implementing appropriate escaping measures.
