What is CVE-2026-73584?

A vulnerability has been identified in sblim-sfcb that allows a local, low-privileged attacker to exploit a race condition during the process of privileged instance migration. By manipulating a temporary file located in the /tmp directory, the attacker can repeatedly create a symbolic link that redirects privileged output to an arbitrary file. This exploitation can result in the corruption of sensitive files and may lead to a denial of service (DoS), impacting system stability and availability.
