What is CVE-2026-73662?

The FreePBX Music on Hold module, from versions 17.0.1 to 17.0.7, allows authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability arises due to insufficient validation of command-line options in the validateCustomConfiguration() function within Music.class.php. Attackers can exploit this flaw to write files, open control channels, or create Asterisk call files as the asterisk service user.
