What is CVE-2026-73693?
FileRun versions prior to 2026.3.0 are vulnerable to an OS command injection flaw found in the PhotoProofSheet handler. Authenticated users with file upload permissions can exploit this vulnerability by uploading files whose names contain shell metacharacters. This allows them to execute arbitrary commands via the web server due to inadequate input sanitization in the ImageMagick montage command construction. Attackers can leverage command substitution syntax, including backticks and semicolons, to gain control over the affected system, making it imperative for users to update to the latest version.
