What is CVE-2026-7389?

A security vulnerability has been identified in EyouCMS versions prior to 1.7.9. The issue resides in the GetSortData function located in application/common.php, where improper handling of the sort_asc argument allows for SQL injection attacks. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, enabling an attacker to manipulate database queries without authorization. Despite prior notification about this security flaw, there has been no response from the project maintainers, making this vulnerability particularly concerning for users.
