What is CVE-2026-75033?

A vulnerability in Rancher Manager enables the propagation of Project Secrets into namespaces solely based on the field.cattle.io/projectId annotation. This flaw allows a user with the ability to create namespaces in one cluster to exploit the annotation, referencing a project ID from a different cluster. Consequently, the secrets associated with the other project can be copied into the namespace controlled by the user, posing significant security risks.
