What is CVE-2026-7535?

A vulnerability exists in the Open5GS software that allows attackers to exploit the amf_namf_comm_handle_registration_status_update_request function. By manipulating the ueContextId parameter, an attacker can cause a denial of service, impacting the availability of the service. This issue can be exploited remotely, and it has been publicly disclosed. Despite being reported to the Open5GS project, the issue remains unaddressed, making users vulnerable to potential exploits.
