What is CVE-2026-75845?

In ArcadeDB versions 26.4.2 through 26.7.3, an authorization bypass flaw exists in the set_server_setting MCP server-level tool. This vulnerability allows authenticated read-only users to invoke the set_server_setting method and alter the server's GlobalConfiguration without proper role verification, leading to potential configuration tampering or denial of service. The flaw arises from the tool's reliance on the global allowAdmin flag without validating the user's role, thus creating security risks in deployments where allowAdmin is enabled and a non-root allowedUsers set is defined. This issue has been resolved in version 26.8.1.
