What is CVE-2026-75853?

The Gremlin wire-protocol plugin in ArcadeDB versions 26.7.3 and earlier enforces authentication via SASL PLAIN but fails to perform essential authorization checks. This oversight allows any authenticated user to access and manipulate data across all databases on the server, regardless of their allocated permissions. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can bypass the intended access controls, leading to potential data loss or corruption. The issue has been addressed in version 26.8.1.
