What is CVE-2026-75885?

A vulnerability exists in the OpenShift console that allows attackers to exploit unauthenticated access to the /api/devfile/ and /api/devfile/samples/ endpoints. This flaw can be exploited to perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), where a malicious actor can manipulate the console pod into making requests to internal services, revealing sensitive data. Furthermore, by sending large requests without a defined content length, attackers can initiate unbounded memory growth, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition that impacts availability.
