Excessive Permissions in Managed Service Accounts Affecting Red Hat OpenShift
CVE-2026-75924

8.7HIGH

What is CVE-2026-75924?

A security flaw exists in managed-serviceaccounts within Red Hat OpenShift. When an addon-manager pod is compromised, it can exploit its ClusterRole, which provides excessive permissions. This enables unauthorized access to read any secret across all namespaces. Furthermore, the compromised pod can approve arbitrary Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), resulting in potential information disclosure and privilege escalation within the cluster environment.
