What is CVE-2026-76087?

The Formie plugin for Craft CMS contains a vulnerability in the SubmissionsController that improperly trusts a client-supplied submission ID. This issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to hijack or overwrite other users’ incomplete or save-for-later submissions by enumerating sequential IDs. The flaw results in unauthorized data persistence and can facilitate data leakage via notifications or integrations intended for the original user, highlighting the need for robust session binding and ownership validation. This issue, linked to CVE-2026-47266, is addressed in versions 2.2.23 and 3.1.31.
