What is CVE-2026-76224?

ArcadeDB's Gremlin query engine prior to version 26.8.1 is susceptible to a remote code execution vulnerability. This issue arises from the fallback mechanism to the insecure Groovy engine during the execution of parameterized queries. Authenticated users, regardless of their role, can exploit this flaw by manipulating query parameters, leading to potential execution of arbitrary operating system commands with the privileges of the ArcadeDB server process user. Immediate action should be taken to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
