The stigmem-node package version 0.9.0a1 has a vulnerability related to timestamp-handling mismatches during federation peer-token validation. This flaw could lead to valid peer tokens being erroneously classified as expired, which in turn compromises the availability and reliability of authenticated federation flows. The issue has been resolved in version 0.9.0a2, which implements a canonical millisecond-based validation approach to ensure proper token validation.
