What is CVE-2026-76839?

Grav versions prior to 2.0.16 present a significant vulnerability where sandboxed Twig templates improperly access sensitive user fields via the allow-listed offsetGet() and offsetExists() methods. This flaw enables attackers with editing permissions on the pages to extract critical information from User objects, such as hashed passwords and 2FA secrets. Consequently, this could lead to offline password cracking attempts and potential authentication bypass, undermining the overall security of affected systems.
