What is CVE-2026-77507?

Weblate, a web-based continuous localization platform, has a vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to access change-history metadata of private projects and restricted components. This flaw exists due to insufficient permission checks on object-scoped RSS feeds, making it possible for users to retrieve sensitive information such as project identities, contributor usernames, and action types without proper authentication, especially in setups allowing anonymous access. The issue affects installations utilizing private projects or restricted components and has been addressed in version 2026.8.
