What is CVE-2026-77692?
The vulnerability in BIND allows attackers to remotely force the 'named' service to abort by sending specially crafted DNS-over-HTTPS requests. This problem arises when a cryptographically invalid SIG(0) record is included in the request and the connection is closed prematurely. This could potentially disrupt DNS services and compromise server reliability. Users of affected BIND versions should apply patches to secure their systems.
