What is CVE-2026-7791?

A vulnerability in the log rotation mechanism of the Skylight Workspace Config Service within Amazon WorkSpaces for Windows allows authenticated non-admin users to bypass file system permissions. This can lead to arbitrary files being placed in insecure locations, ultimately enabling these users to escalate their privileges to the SYSTEM level.
