What is CVE-2026-78596?

An identified flaw within Kibana allows authenticated users with Security read-level access to execute unauthorized data modification. This vulnerability exists due to a missing authorization check that permits an attacker to perform privileged operations, such as Entity Analytics migration, across all spaces within Kibana, irrespective of their actual access rights. This could lead to the alteration of critical data, thus compromising the integrity of the system.
