What is CVE-2026-78658?

IBM's UrbanCode Deploy and DevOps Deploy products are vulnerable to an information disclosure issue when processing redacted property values. This vulnerability occurs if a deployment is configured with secure properties that begin with certain non-ASCII characters. As a result, the redaction engine may fail to adequately mask subsequent ASCII secure values that are embedded within unsecured properties. An authenticated user with appropriate permissions can exploit this vulnerability through the User Interface (UI) or Application Programming Interface (API), gaining access to sensitive data that should remain hidden.
