What is CVE-2026-79750?

MCPHub, a platform for managing multiple MCP servers, contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated non-admin users to invoke tools on servers owned by other users, bypassing ownership controls. Specifically, while server visibility and configuration editing are restricted to owning users, the tool-execution API lacks the same restrictions. This flaw can lead to serious security risks, such as unauthorized access to sensitive information (e.g., reading files like /etc/passwd) and Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks. The issue has been addressed in version 1.0.30.
