What is CVE-2026-80198?

Versions of Kimai prior to 2.56.0 are vulnerable due to improper restrictions on the config() Twig function within sandboxed templates for invoices and exports. This flaw allows administrators to upload potentially malicious templates that could disclose sensitive server-wide secrets. These secrets include LDAP bind passwords and SAML private keys, which can be integrated into lower-privileged users' invoice or export documents, leading to unauthorized data exposure.
