What is CVE-2026-81207?

The vulnerability in IBM DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data 5.4.0.0 positions any authenticated tenant to gain unauthorized control over the outbound fetching scheme, host, port, and path. This flaw allows the WSDL body to be reflected verbatim to the caller, leading to potential data leakage and exposure. Since the ds-canvas pod operates within an OpenShift environment with access to co-tenant services and in-cluster APIs, the attack could compromise confidentiality. It’s critical for users to implement robust security measures to mitigate risks associated with this vulnerability.
