What is CVE-2026-82238?

Filebrowser version 2.24.0 has a race condition in its TUS upload handler. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to exploit concurrent PATCH requests, leading to a scenario where they can upload files exceeding the specified Upload-Length. By sending simultaneous PATCH requests targeting the same offset, attackers can bypass the length validation, potentially resulting in oversized uploads and executing unintended completion hooks.
