What is CVE-2026-82640?

The Browser-Use Web-UI versions 2.0.0 to 3.0.0 improperly store configured LLM API keys on disk in cleartext format, lacking any encryption or access controls. This vulnerability allows attackers with read access to the temporary settings directory to potentially retrieve sensitive API keys from easily guessable JSON file names, jeopardizing application integrity and security.
