The OpenSearch SQL plugin is vulnerable to an unrestricted deserialization issue involving the cursor pagination component. This flaw allows remote authenticated users who possess basic read or search permissions to manipulate the cursor parameter sent to the plugins/sql endpoint. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to arbitrary code execution on the server, thereby compromising the server's integrity and potentially granting unauthorized access to sensitive data.
