What is CVE-2026-84188?

LibreNMS versions up to 26.4.0 are susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw exists in the graph_descr. configuration settings, where malicious HTML payloads can be stored without proper HTML escaping. As a consequence, any authenticated user viewing the affected graph types may have the payload executed in their browser, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure. The issue has been rectified in version 26.7.0, and it is strongly recommended for users to upgrade to this version to mitigate the risk.
