What is CVE-2026-84190?

LibreNMS versions prior to 26.5.0 possess a vulnerability in the AboutController that allows for remote code execution. This occurs when the snmpget configuration parameter is passed to the shell_exec() function without adequate validation measures. An authenticated administrator can exploit this vulnerability by modifying the snmpget configuration to reference a malicious executable. This can lead to unauthorized code execution upon accessing the /about endpoint, posing significant security risks.
