What is CVE-2026-84283?

The Secure Folder application version 1.2 by Samsung has a significant security flaw where files intended for its password-protected vault are saved as unencrypted files within the Android shared-storage directory. This misconfiguration allows any local application or file manager with permissions to access this shared-storage location to easily list, copy, and open these sensitive files, circumventing the Secure Folder's authentication mechanisms.
