What is CVE-2026-84452?

The Windows ML CLI tool prior to version 0.4.0 is vulnerable due to improper handling of localhost HTTP API requests. It exposes commands without authentication and allows any origin for CORS requests. This vulnerability enables attackers to exploit the system by sending crafted cross-origin requests that can execute arbitrary code on the server by setting the 'trust_remote_code' parameter to true. This loophole can lead to serious security implications as it allows code from untrusted repositories to be executed. It is advised to upgrade to version 0.4.0 or later for protection against this vulnerability.
