Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in OpenJDK for EAP Management
CVE-2026-84725

8.1HIGH

What is CVE-2026-84725?

An issue has been identified in OpenJDK's interaction with EAP when utilizing -secmgr, where the JDKBridge does not properly validate CDR codebase URLs provided by an attacker during the unmarshalling process. This loophole permits an unauthenticated individual to load arbitrary classes from a remote URL in the server's JVM context before any EJB security interceptors are activated, potentially leading to severe consequences for the integrity of the application and its data.
