What is CVE-2026-84792?

Craft CMS prior to version 5.10.11 suffers from a broken access control vulnerability in the element-indexes/save-elements endpoint. This flaw enables control panel users with limited permissions to move entries into sections they do not have the right to edit. Malicious actors can exploit this vulnerability by altering the sectionId attribute, effectively bypassing the approved destination section permission checks. This could allow unauthorized relocation or publication of entries, posing a significant risk to data integrity and access control within the system.
