The authorization bypass vulnerability in ScadaLTS 2.8.1 allows authenticated users to invoke restricted methods via DWR endpoints. The issue arises because the crossDomainSessionSecurity setting is disabled, bypassing built-in origin validation. Consequently, users can exploit this flaw to access unauthorized functionalities by sending requests to accessible URLs, exposing the system to potential threats and further exploitation by low privilege accounts.
