What is CVE-2026-85582?

Versions of SiYuan prior to v3.8.2 are susceptible to an unbounded session creation vulnerability in the publish-service's Basic Auth handler. This security flaw enables authenticated attackers to exploit the system by repetitively authenticating with valid credentials, which results in the creation of persistent session entries. These entries lack expiry or capacity limits, leading to continuous memory growth and potentially causing a denial of service due to resource exhaustion.
