The n8n workflow automation platform is affected by a vulnerability in its OAuth Dynamic Client Registration endpoint. This issue allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to input oversized values for client_name and grant_types, leading to potential database storage exhaustion. The vulnerability lies in the insufficient validation of input lengths, which can cause disruptions in service. The problem has been addressed in versions 2.37.7 and 2.38.2, which include enhancements to limit the size of these inputs to predefined maximum lengths.
