What is CVE-2026-86093?

A vulnerability exists in IBM Db2 versions 11.5.0 through 11.5.9 and 12.1.0 through 12.1.5. This issue arises from improper bounds checking during the handling of user-controlled data copied into a fixed-size stack buffer. An attacker who can control or impersonate a DRDA server endpoint may exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary commands on the Db2 clients, potentially compromising their security and integrity.
