What is CVE-2026-86183?

A vulnerability exists in the Diem Project's dmWidget component, specifically within the file dmFrontPlugin/modules/dmWidget/lib/BasedmWidgetActions.class.php. This flaw enables unauthorized users to bypass security measures by manipulating the 'widget_id' argument. As a result, remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability, which is publicly accessible, to gain unauthorized access. A patch has been created (116974edfb9a5b8bd69cb13586dc62bcdbb485ad) to address this issue, but the project maintainers have yet to respond to early reports regarding the problem.
